This page is dedicated to assisting teachers and schools to locate grants that may assist them in introducing or supporting a program that will promote sustainability in their school.
Beverage Container Recycling Community Grants - Keep Australia Beautiful Queensland is providing grants for all communities, including schools, to implement suitable projects that will result in a measurable increase in beverage container recycling.
Applications will be awarded to
- projects which address the specific issue of beverage container recycling and its by-products;
- practical local solutions that can be used as examples for others and leave a legacy
- projects that do not duplicate existing recycling activities; and
- projects that result in measurable volumes of recycled materials.

Junior Landcare Grants Program - This program is designed to provide funds to help young people participate in Landcare projects, at their school or within their local community and environment.

Telstra's Kids Fund - This funding is to support a broad range of initiatives and projects including education, sports and recreation, arts and culture, environment, social issues and disability programs.
To apply for this grant a person must be a permanent Telstra Group employee with a child, 18 years or under, in their immediate family. Your school may have a person employed permanently by the Telstra Group you may be able to discuss with them their ability to apply for this grant on your school's behalf.
This current round of funding is giving priority to those areas within disaster relief regions however that does not mean other areas can not apply.
