Composting and worm farming workshops

 

 FREE Sustainable Gardening Workshops

Come along to Council's FREE sustainable gardening workshops where you can learn all about composting, worm farming and bokashi bins to recycle your waste and improve your garden.  It's a great way to use vegetable scraps, fruit scraps, garden clippings, tea leaves, eggshells, house dust and even pet hair.

A series of workshops will be held once a month until July 2013. The workshops are held on a Saturday between 10am and 12pm.

  • February 16th - Broadbeach Library
  • March 16th - Nerang Library
  • April 20th - Joan Park Community Garden, Southport
  • May 25th - Helensvale Community Centre
  • June 15th - Robina Library

Tea and coffee are provided and all you need to bring is a hat, water bottle and wear closed in shoes.
