Composting and worm farming workshops

 

 FREE Sustainable Gardening Workshops

Come along to Council's FREE sustainable gardening workshops where you can learn all about composting and worm farming to recycle your waste and improve your garden.  It's a great way to use vegetable scraps, fruit scraps, tea leaves, eggshells, house dust and even garden clippings.

A series of workshops will be held once a month from January through to July 2012. The workshops are held on a Saturday between 10am and 12pm.

  • January 21st - Joan Park Community Garden, Southport
  • February 18th - Nerang Library
  • March 17th - Southern Beaches Community Garden, Tugun
  • April 21st - Broadbeach Community Garden
  • May 19th - Robina Library
  • June 23rd - Helensvale Community Centre
