Kerbside clean-ups
The Kerbside Cleanup Program for 2011 is now complete.

Important notes
Collection is limited to:
- two cubic metres in volume (one small box trailer),
- items not longer than 1.5 metres, and
- items easily and safely lifted by two people
Materials may be collected at any time during the week of the collection for your area, so please ensure that all items are placed on the kerb on the Sunday evening. Materials placed out after the collection date will not be collected.
Please keep metal in a separate pile.
Council reserves the right to refuse any material. Offensive, heavy, dangerous or excessive volumes of material will not be collected.
Contact recycling centres, charity providers or second hand dealers to see if usable items are wanted first.

stoves Carpet and lino
bagged garden waste
small pruning (tied in bundles)
small car parts
furniture (please remove cupboard doors)
white goods and scrap metal
other household items
Unacceptable materials
The following items are unacceptable for the kerbside clean-up and will not be collected. Please contact Council about other recycling and disposal options or find your nearest Council waste disposal and recycling facility to appropriately manage this waste.

putrescible (decaying) matter
liquids and hazardous waste
paint, oils and chemicals
building/demolition waste
gas bottles
car batteries
household refuse
tyres
sheet glass
